Ok you old school Space Invaders fans, here is Retro Invaderz 3D! A remake of the classic shoot 'em up with faster fire power in full depth anaglyph 3D! Retro Invaderz 3D was my 2nd anaglyph 3D game released for the H+soft Arcade project back in 2009. Unlike most of my 3D games, this one features more of a recessive 3D (more back depth) than a progressive one. The original Space Invaders arcade game was developed by Tomohiro Nishikado and released in 1978 by the Taito Corporation of Japan. To learn more about this iconic game that has paved the way for the shoot 'em up genre, you should look up it's Wikipedia page - It's very interesting! As for the crudeness of the screenshots below, Retro Invaderz 3D was coded with a scan lined display for CRT nostalgia and did not scale well. Zoom in on them for a better appearance. :)

:: How To Play ::

Use your mouse, keyboard or game pad to control the tank. Use the mouse, cursor/arrow keys or d-pad/analog to move. Tap Left Mouse Button or Left CTRL/Button 1/A to fire. Press Space to pause the game and ESC to quit at anytime. The aim of the game is to shoot, shoot, shoot! Blast those alien invaders to keep them from touching down on earth. Blast the passing UFO to earn extra bonus points - Have Fun!

The game download below is a zipped archive. This makes it easy to delete when you are done with the software. Once downloaded, go to the location where you downloaded the file. Right click and select 'Extract All' to unzip the archive. Open the unzipped folder and click the app icon to run the game. If you get a warning message and the game won't run, right click the app and click 'Troubleshoot Compatibility', then tinker with the different settings - Enjoy!
