What happens when you combine the elements of the C64 classic game 'Cauldron II' with the Coin-op or NES classic Super Mario Bros.? Well, Jack-o's Revenge that's what! An evil witch has cast a horrible spell, transforming you into a Jack-o-lantern! Now you must jump, shoot and bash your way through 15 challenging side-scrolling levels of her castle in search of the five enchanted items: A pair of scissors, a hatchet, a golden goblet, a kings crown and a spell book. Once you have collected all of these you must leap into the final cauldron to reverse the spell - Thus, beating the game. My kids loved this game back 2005 and spent countless hours playing it and I believe never beat it. Now grown up and moved out, they still love it today (especially my youngest) making it yet another 'best game' in my collection.

:: How To Play ::

Use your keyboard or game pad to control Jack-o. Use the cursor/arrow keys or d-pad/analog to move Jack-o. Tap Left CTRL/Button 1/A to jump and Left ALT/Button 2/B to shoot fireballs when powered-up. Press Space to pause the game and ESC to quit at anytime. Your goal is to get through all 5 levels of 3 stages collecting a magical item and jumping into the final cauldron at the end - Have Fun!

The game download below is a zipped archive. This makes it easy to delete when you are done with the software. Once downloaded, go to the location where you downloaded the file. Right click and select 'Extract All' to unzip the archive. Open the unzipped folder and click the app icon to run the game. If you get a warning message and the game won't run, right click the app and click 'Troubleshoot Compatibility', then tinker with the different settings - Enjoy!
