Objective:
Are you ready for a new twist on retro shooting games? The
Techno loving Space Bees are back! Here's the twist,
you're not just playing any old retro shooter. In fact,
it's a retro style shooter combined with a old word
guessing game like hangman! That's right, you must shoot
letter bees in attempt to guess the word, then fire your
rockets to destroy the queen! It's easy, when a round
starts, shoot a letter (not the bee) to make a guess.
If your guess is a letter in the word, it will be added
to the word pod. If you guess wrong, you will loose a
try. If you run out of tries, the queen will dive bomb
you and the game is over. Sounds easy right? Well, you
also have a time limit of 60 seconds, if you fail to
guess the word with-in the time limit you will also be
destroyed by the queen! Guess all the letters in the
word and your ship will fire rockets destroying the
queen, ending that round of play. You will start a new
round with a new queen, try to defeat her once again! To
keep things interesting, this game features 3 difficulty
settings: Easy, Normal and Random. Also, you can play in
'Attack Mode' (off by default) and shoot angry diving
bees! Look below under 'Tips & Info' for descriptions on
the above difficulty settings. Well, that's it for now
the best thing to do now is play!

Tips and Info

Menu:
To access the menu during play tap either the
'Esc' or 'Space Bar' keys or Click your Right
mouse button. From the menu you can: Quit or Resume a
game, Adjust word difficulty, Turn 'Attack Mode' on/off,
Adjust sound/music volumes, or exit. You can also tap
'Esc' to exit the game.
Difficulty:
There are three difficulty settings - Set to:
Easy: For
3-5 letter words.
Normal: For 6-12 letter words.
Random:
Play the Easy and Normal difficulty words combined
(3-12 letter words).
Attack
Mode: When
attack mode is 'ON' and you make a wrong letter guess,
you will be attacked by diving space bees from the side
combs! Destroy as many bees as you can for extra points
with out getting hit!
Controls:
Supports mouse and game pad control:
Mouse:
Drag to
move the ship and targeting crosshair.
Left Button=Fire, Right Button=Menu. You can also use
the Left CTRL key to fire.
Game
Pad:
Use D-pad or stick to move the ship and targeting
crosshair. Button 1=Fire, 2=Menu.
Play Tips:
When
guessing letters, shoot the letter not the bee to score
hits! You can actually rack up more points in a game
if you have 'Attack Mode' enabled. As you know, most
words usually have a vowel! - Shoot those letters first
when starting a new word round! Play 'Random'
difficulty for up to 300 possible words! When getting
attacked by crazy diving bees, watch your ship and not
just the crosshair to avoid sneaky hits! - Also, you
must actually shoot the bees with your crosshair, don't
just blindly shoot around to score a hit!
