:: The Goblin ::

Quite simply put, this is a remake of an old game by Dan Goff published in Compute! magazine for the C64 way back in 1983. It was a type-in program written in basic if my memory serves me right. You played as weird looking little goblin who eats smiley faces in a block maze. Back then as a kid I was intrigued by the simplicity and yet originality of this game. So.. Naturally I ended up making another remake of this action mini game several years later for H+Soft Arcade.. The Goblin, he only comes out on Halloween night in a dark forest to feast on jack-o-lanterns. You must guide him safely down the maze of trees to eat all the sad yet fear stricken jack-o-lanterns. You can collide with (or eat) a total of 3 trees before dying and ending the game, making the jack-o-lanterns smile with relief.

:: How To Play ::

Use your keyboard or game pad to control the goblin. Use the cursor/arrow keys or d-pad/analog to move. Press Space to pause the game and ESC to quit at anytime. The aim of the game is guide the goblin through the dark forest to eat all the pumpkins - Have Fun!

The game download below is a zipped archive. This makes it easy to delete when you are done with the software. Once downloaded, go to the location where you downloaded the file. Right click and select 'Extract All' to unzip the archive. Open the unzipped folder and click the app icon to run the game. If you get a warning message and the game won't run, right click the app and click 'Troubleshoot Compatibility', then tinker with the different settings - Enjoy!
