This game was obviously a remake of the classic Centipede by Atari Inc. in 1981, and was the first in the 'Hologram Games' series for H+Soft Arcade back in 2011. I had planned on making several of these, which were to be retro remakes of classic arcade games in extreme anaglyph 3D. I believe I only made two. This game and Hologram Lazer Blasterz 3D. Why were they called 'Hologram Games'? They were called this because you can adjust the 3D offset to an extreme amount giving a hologram effect. Quite literally, the game screen would be floating in mid-air right in front of you! The more you increase the offset and the further you get away from your screen will increase the effect - Very cool! So if you've got some anaglyph 3D glasses laying around and like retro arcade shooters like Centipede, why not play it in extreme 3D?

:: How To Play ::

Use your mouse or game pad to control the cannon. Use your mouse or d-pad/analog to move. Tap Left Mouse Button or Button 1/A to fire. Press Space to pause the game and ESC to quit at anytime. The aim of the game is to shoot, shoot, shoot! Destroy the centipede on each stage, while shooting various insects for extra points - Have Fun!

The game download below is a zipped archive. This makes it easy to delete when you are done with the software. Once downloaded, go to the location where you downloaded the file. Right click and select 'Extract All' to unzip the archive. Open the unzipped folder and click the app icon to run the game. If you get a warning message and the game won't run, right click the app and click 'Troubleshoot Compatibility', then tinker with the different settings - Enjoy!
